Reason 3.0 Redrum with Filterbank Combinator

last weekend I read the filter-chapter in the great book "Power Tools for Reason 3.0" and built my personal Redrum Combinator Patch with a Filterbank as a starting point for my drum-tracks. It's quite flexible, so I thought, why not share this patch with you?

Here it is: tk_drums_1.cmb

front front

Have a look at the combinator-programmer: The Knobs and Buttons of the combinator are connected to the four filters to change their settings at once and one button is connected to the matrix to turn it on and off. Using my Behringer Nano-Control makes "playing" this selfmade "filterbank" absolutely easy and fun :)

complete track with this combinator

here is the reason backing-track for my new song "where the wendigo goes" - it uses the redrum-filterbank to fill only three redrum patterns with enough live for a complete drum-track:

Unser Kumpel hat ein CD-Label gegründet, dafür arbeiten Einohr und ich vorrangig, entweder solo oder zusammen. Sind da nicht nur als Künstler, sondern vor allem als Mitarbeiter aktiv...

As to answering your questions: genoxx was originally planned as a platform where we could exchange ideas and sounds - even tracks! It was planned as something where we can publish things.
We still have the domain www.genoxx.net and had thought to create a site where the people can introduce the projects they're involved in, where we/they can link their sites and give general informations which go beyond this journal. We even thought about something like and archive where we can download and upload stuff to work on songs together, but there are sites like this Splice! which are more suitable for it, so we'd rather use them!
We've always been too busy to start working on "our" site.
Now that there're more and more people getting involved here we could start to discuss this again, because we want everyone to get involved if we start something *real*. You're ideas are more than welcome! Feel free to post them or even start something, there'llbe someone here who'll pick it up ;-)

That would be something like:

"Hi, it's me again. Now a quick note in German...do you actually publish your tracks somewhere? Perhaps on a netlabel? It's just that I'm thinking about founding one and maybe we could use genoxx as a platform for that?!? What do you think about that...

Maybe someone can translate it into English so that everyone can understand? thx greetings, stephan"

(Reading it you probably think you could have done that yourself, am I rigt???)
